Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Reaves Labs and Learning, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users — including students with disabilities, educators, and adult learners. We believe every learner deserves equal access to education. Accessibility is not a feature; it is a baseline requirement for every product we ship.
Conformance Status
We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA conformance for this website and all education products. Below is our current status across key dimensions:
prefers-reduced-motion. No animations fire when reduced motion is enabled.Education Products
Our three flagship platforms — CoinQuest, MarketSapien, and Adulting Academy — are designed with inclusive learning in mind:
- CoinQuest (K-12) — Designed for learners from kindergarten through 12th grade, including learners with different reading levels and learning styles. COPPA compliant; no account or PII required.
- MarketSapien — Content is available in text form; no audio-only or video-only delivery. All interactive scenarios are operable by keyboard.
- Adulting Academy — Adaptive pacing; learners can progress at their own speed. AI coaching is text-based and does not rely on audio comprehension.
Known Limitations
We are committed to transparency about current gaps:
- Some third-party embedded demos (e.g., product iframe demos hosted on external subdomains) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively auditing and remediating these.
- The virtual product tour uses visual targeting that currently lacks full screen-reader narration. Audio narration is available via the tour's built-in voice button.
- Older product blueprint files available in the store predate our accessibility standards and are being updated incrementally.
Standards & Compliance
- WCAG 2.1 AA — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, Level AA
- COPPA — Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Zero student data collected.
- FERPA — Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. Our architecture collects no student records by design.
- Section 508 — We follow Section 508 guidelines for federal accessibility standards applicable to educational technology.
Technical Approach
- Semantic HTML5 throughout — proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and list structures.
- ARIA attributes used where native HTML semantics are insufficient (carousels, live feed, chat widget).
- All font sizes use relative units (
rem/em) to respect user browser preferences. - Interactive components meet WCAG 2.5.5 (touch targets minimum 44×44 CSS pixels).
- No content flashes more than three times per second (WCAG 2.3.1).
- All animations are gated behind
@media (prefers-reduced-motion: no-preference).
Feedback & Accommodation Requests
We welcome accessibility feedback. If you experience a barrier, need an accommodation, or would like to request content in an alternative format, contact us:
- Email: support@reaveslabs.ai
- Subject line: Accessibility
- We respond to all accessibility inquiries within 2 business days.
We are committed to resolving reported barriers as quickly as possible and will provide interim accommodations where a fix requires time to implement.
Assessment Approach
Reaves Labs & Learning assesses accessibility through:
- Self-evaluation using automated tools and manual keyboard/screen-reader testing.
- Deployment gates that check heading hierarchy, motion accessibility, and ARIA label completeness on every release.
- Ongoing review as new features are added, per our test-first development doctrine.
